She has been involved with the Texas Rice Festival since 1984, serving as chairman of the Diaper Derby, Miss LaPetite and the Senior Queen Pageant.  She currently is serving as co-chairman of the Dignitary Hospitality Room along with her husband Stuart.   She has also served on the Board of Directors and various other committees.

Sissy considers it an honor and privilege to be a part of an organization that gives back to the community and to the area youth.  She would like to thank all the sponsors and volunteers that have put so much time and effort into making the festival a success.

She hopes everyone comes out and has a great time at the 44th Texas Rice Festival!
